Is a Wedding Planner Necessary?

I wish you everyone a very happy new year. We have never been more prepared for a brand-new year. Let's put the difficulties of 2020 behind us, along with the delays, worry, and lack of hugs, and instead concentrate on this lovely, bright new year that is right in front of us. We're all still waiting for normalcy to return, so it won't be without its obstacles, but one thing is for certain: we can't wait to get back to working on weddings and assisting so many great couples with their wedding planning services.

However, whether you recently got engaged or maybe it's been a while (thanks to Covid), and the planning has already started, you might be wondering if you need a wedding planner. Don't worry though, we're here to help.

We don't take offence. We are aware that a lot of engaged couples in the UK wonder, "Do I need a wedding planner?" Some even ask the absurd question, "I don't need a wedding planner, do I?" Once more, not offended. We understand why you might have those questions because it's a major subject and wedding planners are still not as widespread in the UK as they are in the USA. We're going to examine what a wedding planner does and respond to some of your questions rather than just say, "YES!" to help you determine whether you need a wedding planner or not.

WHY WORK WITH A WEDDING PLANNER?

How much or how little you require. We provide services ranging from those in which we assist solely in the very end to those in which we are actively involved straight away. Supporting you is our main goal. We hold your hand, direct, and guide you as we assist everything come together. Most importantly, we are present to execute the entire event with our talented staff on the wedding day, at the rehearsals, and at the morning breakfast.

We can work with you to fill in the gaps and ensure that you have the wedding planning services of your dreams if you want to organise your own wedding but don't know where to start, or feel like you have the logistics down but can't see the styling side, or vice versa. We are your incredibly organised best friends and wedding planners that make sure you unwind and enjoy your wedding.

DO I NEED A WEDDING PLANNER EVEN THOUGH MY VENUE HAS A WEDDING MANAGER?

You can have both, according to two freelance wedding planners who have also worked as coordinators and venue managers. On the day of your wedding, a venue manager will make sure everything at the location is ideal for you. They are probably considering the time schedule for the day and the practicalities of who will enter and exit their venue. Of course they want you to have the finest day ever, but the location must come first.

As independent event planners, our couples are the focus of all we do! All focus is on you. Our goal is to help you achieve your vision, therefore we're assisting to organise every little detail, from the champagne-filled journey to your wedding planning services to the logistics, the look, the feel, and the emotion of the decor, the set up, take down, and the after-party. We all have a unique role to perform on your wedding day and enjoy working with, in, and alongside venue coordinators.

I DON'T NEED A PLANNER BECAUSE I'M REALLY ORGANIZED.

Unquestionable and a good point. The really organised (like us) don't necessarily need a planner the entire time. However, they require at the very least some assistance with the planning, a second view, and a reality check. The wonderful bridal or groom squad, as well as, of course, family, can contribute to this. But having a qualified individual on your team might also be advantageous. You could be the label-loving organisational mastermind, but have you ever organised a wedding? Do you want your wedding day to be the first time you use this new skill? Even the best do-it-yourselfers want assistance when creating an entire house!

A skilled wedding planner may access incredible resources, provide access to vendors and novel ideas that you were unaware even existed. We've done this more than 100 times previously, and that kind of knowledge is invaluable! And at the absolute least, you should only play one part on your wedding day—bride or groom, not bride and wedding planner! The same holds true for your loved ones and friends. You should all be free to have a great time.

I thus hope that by going over those three key inquiries, we have assisted you in determining whether or not you require a wedding planner. Furthermore, you are aware of our location at all times.

Cheers to planning!
